My Mother

I drew a portrait of my mother as our theme was to draw someone personal to us, so i drew from a black and white photograph of my mum in her 20s, we had to use paint and charcoal, paint for the outlines and charcoal for the shading and tonal. I think this is the best portrait drawing i have done as the face proportions are surprisingly quite accuate! I think my mum looks very elegant in this picture :)
